Awards given by the High Sheriffs of the Isle of Wight

High Sheriff's Awards

From time to time High Sheriffs up and down the country make awards to people and organisations which, in the opinion of the current High Sheriff, have done something exceptional.

During their years as High Sheriff of the Isle of Wight:

Gay Edwards gave Award Certificates to the following in 2009/10:

The LIFE course run by the Fire and Rescue Service
The Nurture Group at Haylands Community Primary School in Ryde
The Community and Family Learning team
Pat Goodhead and David Lisseter, Head and Chairman of Governors of Christ the King College (a personal award for their leadership)
David Ouston for leading the Street Pastors
Tina Byers (well known for her work with the Pan Partnership).
